Excellent opportunity to join a manufacturer ensuring quality standards are met by conducting inspections, identifying risks, and managing compliance requirements. The role offers career progression and development within the role, taking on aspects of health and safety, industrial engineering and continuous improvement long term.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside the QHSE manager to review compliance requirements and ensure standards in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
* Spot‑checking required inputs/outputs & documented information to maintain the ISO systems
* Inspection of manufactured parts and completed systems
* Goods inward inspection
* Report on preventative action and continuous improvement opportunities
* Report non‑conformance activities and assist in generating and completing detailed non‑conformance reports and corrective actions
* Verification of NCR resolution to agreed timescales & targets
* Support new process development & product improvement activities
* Undertake Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental inspection across the business
Ideal candidate
* Interested in managing and improving manufacturing, production or industrial engineering processes
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes through work or study
* Confident experience with inspection tools including Vernier’s, micrometers, bore gauges
* Knowledge of ISO Standards (9001, 45001 & 14001)
* Ideally knowledge of quality improvement tools such as DMAIC, 5S & Kaizen
* Great communicator, able to collaborate with people at all levels and confident to provide training to operators
* Excellent attention to detail and reporting skill
