Jenson Fisher have been engaged by an expanding, forward thinking company based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis in a newly created role as a result of sustained business growth. Reporting into the Finance Manager, as the Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include: Processing payments and issuing invoices. Assisting with monthly bookkeeping including preparation of VAT returns. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries. Assist with internal reporting at month end, playing a more important role in this as the position grows. Petty cash management. General accounts administration. To be successful in this position it is essential that you possess significant purchase and sales ledger experience. Whilst working using your own initiative you will also be part of a small team therefore first class communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Our client run using SAP and whilst experience would be fantastic, this is not essential and full training will be provided.
