Overview
Located in the new Life and Mind Building, the University of Oxford is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Research Assistant/Trial Manager to support a randomised controlled trial evaluating OSCA (Online Social Anxiety Cognitive Therapy for Adolescents). The trial is being carried out in NHS-commissioned child and adolescent mental health services.
Responsibilities
* Support day‑to‑day run of the randomised controlled trial, including data management and reporting.
* Interact with patients, families, and schools, providing information and assistance.
* Assist with recruitment and retention of participants at participating sites.
* Coordinate administrative duties across the project team.
Qualifications
* First degree in psychology.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an understanding of anxiety disorders in young people.
* Experience setting up and managing large databases.
* Knowledge of statistics and randomised controlled trial methodology.

* Full‑time, fixed‑term appointment until 31 August 2027.
