An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer within our Customer Services Department. This role will involve working as part of a small team to investigate and repair power supplies returned by customers It is desirable that candidates already have an established knowledge in Electrical and Electronic failure analysis and ideally they will also have a component level understanding of Power Supply topologies and ancillary circuits. The successful candidate will become proficient in the use of internal Customer Service return systems and develop a strong knowledge of the complete manufacturing process within TDK-Lambda UK. Furthermore, as the Customer Service department is also part of the wider Customer Technical and Applications support group, there will be opportunity to be involved in customer site visits, system testing and troubleshooting with the addition of report writing functions. Other skills that will also be developed include competency in the use of the EMC Centre, Design and Validation testing, Component Approval, Safety Engineering and report writing. Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge in electrical and electronic failure analysis is desirable. Component level fault diagnosis desirable. Power electronics experience would be desirable. ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering desirable. Ability to manage workload, work independently and prioritise tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team is essential.
