New Directions are currently recruiting Qualified Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Chester. We have a range of long-term, short-term, and ad hoc roles available, all starting ASAP, making this a great opportunity for TAs looking for flexibility or a more consistent schedule.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support teachers and pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, either in the classroom or providing 1:1 support, helping children engage with learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting pupils in the classroom or small groups
2. Assisting with learning activities and behaviour management
3. Supporting children with additional needs where required
4. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Working closely with teachers to support pupil development
We’re Looking For:
6. A qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3)
7. Experience working in a primary school setting
8. Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
