Role overview
We are looking for a versatile and creative Digital Marketing Executive to take ownership of our digital presence. This role is ideal for a proactive marketer who enjoys having autonomy over their work but thrives in a close-knit, small team. You will be responsible for driving demand through SEO and PPC while ensuring our brand looks exceptional. We need someone with a sharp eye for design and accuracy, capable of producing engaging digital assets and short-form videos, while also pitching in to support the wider team with events and logistics.
The position will be fully remote but with access to a friendly, modern office in Bristol for co-working as required.
Key responsibilities
* SEO & PPC management: managing our SEO and PPC strategies, including keyword research, campaign setup, and optimisation across Google Ads and social platforms.
* Visual content production: Design high-quality digital assets for social media, display ads, and email campaigns using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud, ensuring high visual standards at all times.
* Short-form video production: Plan, shoot, and edit engaging short-form video content (e.g., for LinkedIn) to increase brand awareness and social engagement.
* Campaign accuracy & execution: Assist with the execution of end-to-end digital campaigns with a focus on accuracy; helping ensure all tracking links, ad copy, and targeting parameters are set up correctly and free of errors.
* Performance analysis: Monitor campaign and asset performance using analytics tools, balancing creative intuition with data-driven insights to report on ROI and suggest optimisations.
* Website maintenance: Assist with maintaining the company website, ensuring content is fresh, accurate, and optimised for search engines and AI.
* Event & activity support: Assist with the practical logistics of industry events, trade shows, and webinars - from coordinating merchandise and collateral to providing on-the-day support - ensuring our brand presence is professional and seamless.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the wider sales and marketing team to ensure digital marketing efforts are aligned with broader campaign objectives and business goals.
* Market awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, SEO, and PPC to ensure we remain competitive.
Success in the role will be measured by
* Demand/lead generation & growth: A measurable increase in organic traffic and inbound interest, successfully turning digital engagement into qualified pipeline opportunities.
* Campaign efficiency: successfully managing paid budgets to maximise ROI and optimise Cost Per Lead (CPL).
* Content engagement: Growing our social media footprint and engagement rates through the consistent production of high-quality video and visual assets.
* Data-driven improvement: Providing accurate, actionable weekly reports that clearly demonstrate what is working and where we can improve.
Your skills and experience include
* Digital marketing experience: 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing role, ideally with exposure to both paid (PPC) and organic (SEO) strategies.
* Video & design proficiency: Competence in creating digital assets and editing video. Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
* Social media fluency: A strong understanding of current social media trends, particularly regarding short-form video and what drives engagement, with a focus on B2B channels.
* Meticulous accuracy: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in copywriting, data handling, and brand consistency.
* Analytical ability: Familiarity with Google Analytics and ad platforms, with the ability to interpret data to see what creative is working best.
* Autonomy & initiative: A proactive self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of projects and managing their own time, while working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
* Organisational skills: Ability to juggle analytical tasks (like SEO audits) with creative tasks (like video editing) without dropping the ball.
* Education: A degree in Marketing, Creative Media, Business, or a related field is desirable.
