We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic, and committed teacher of Biology to join Loughborough Sixth Form College on a short-term sessional basis to cover maternity leave starting 28th August 2025. This role may also involve some Access and T-Level teaching for the right candidate.
You will prepare and plan innovative and effective lessons, monitor student performance against targets, and provide intervention strategies to ensure student success in meeting or exceeding their target grades.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Y12 A-level Biology teaching and will contribute significantly to the department's outcomes. They will also plan and deliver small group intervention work, as well as teach some Access and T-Level Biology content if appropriate.
A relevant degree and a current teaching qualification are essential. The candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and work effectively within a large team.
