The role
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time, agency basis in schools across Ashington. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential and preparing them for the next stage of their education.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages pupil progress
Assess, monitor, and record pupil attainment and development
Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners
Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments where appropriate
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parentsRequirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills
A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What We Offer
