Support Worker - Full time (37.Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role
We supporting people with learning difficulties, autism, behaviours of distress and complex needs. People with learning disabilities and their families are at the heart of everything that we do.
This role involves you working in a large team, where we support seven people with various disabilities and high health needs. We support four ladies and three gentlemen to live the life they choose. There is a mixture of communication levels within the house and a lot of manual handling is involved - wheelchair users and hoisting. They also need full support with household tasks and personal care.
Shift Patterns - 7am - 2.Alternate weekends and bank holidays. (Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
Personal care
Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry
Supporting with medication
Supporting and encouraging people to find opportunities in education, employment and leisure, and enable them to take part in these opportunities
