ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Supply Chain Planner, you’ll be the main contact for your product portfolio, creating reliable supply plans, ensuring data accuracy in the ERP system, and working closely with cross‑functional teams to meet customer needs. You’ll analyse MRP outputs, manage the order book, resolve delivery issues, provide insights for the IBP process, and support inventory optimisation using strong data and robust actions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Build and deliver robust supply plans to meet customer demand, factoring in inventory, logistics and storage requirements.
2. Maintain accurate data within the ERP system and act on MRP outputs.
3. Take full accountability for managing order books and project plans for your portfolio.
4. Identify risks, prioritise issues, and implement mitigation plans.
5. Support the S&OP/IBP cycle by providing clear insight into vulnerabilities and opportunities.
6. Optimise inventory levels while balancing delivery risk, cost, and customer expectations.
7. Participate in operational reviews and contribute to continuous improvement..
ABOUT YOU
8. Strong background in Purchasing Planning, Production Planning or Scheduling within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
9. Highly organised, systematic, and decisive with excellent prioritisation skills.
10. Confident communicator with strong influencing skills.
11. Data‑driven with strong analytical capability and excellent IT skills (Excel essential; Power BI beneficial).
12. Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems (Dynamics AX preferred).
13. Experience in S&OP/IBP environments is an advantage.
14. Naturally curious and improvement‑focused; proactive and self‑motivated.
