As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Havering, you may:
Provide whole-class cover during teacher absence or PPA time
Deliver structured intervention programmes
Support lower and upper KS2 pupils with targeted learning
Assist with lesson preparation and light planning
Work closely with SLT as a trusted Higher Level Teaching AssistantSchools value a calm, resilient Higher Level Teaching Assistant who can maintain high standards and build positive relationships quickly.
The Ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Holds a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
Has strong curriculum knowledge
