Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You will ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire alarms, CCTV, Access control and Intruder alarm/associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards.
* Maintain appropriate documentation and records in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Provide excellent communication and basic Microsoft Word and Excel literacy.
* Work to high levels of Health and Safety Requirements and assist with PPM, reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire & Security Systems industry.
* Conduct service test and inspection work to the relevant standards/codes, including fault‑finding techniques.
* Attend and participate in company‑initiated training to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.
Qualifications
* Previous experience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS in the engineering field.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and the ability to work with little supervision.
* Technical and problem‑solving abilities and a willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.
