Deputy Pro Dean for Student Education
**Open to existing Grade 9 and Grade 10 Academic staff within the Faculty of Social Sciences only.**
Can you provide the vision, creativity and initiative needed to successfully deliver the Faculty and University strategy for Student Education? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in an international and interdisciplinary context?
The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) is looking to appoint a Deputy Pro Dean for Student Education.
As a Deputy Pro Dean for Student Education, you will have the leadership skills, ambition and creativity to support the Faculty to deliver an outstanding student experience.
The Deputy Pro Dean will work closely with the Pro Dean for Student Education (PDSE) and will deputise as necessary and appropriate across the full range of student education activity. You will work as a team with the Academic Leads for Student Education to drive a strong vision and strategy for student education in the Faculty of Social Sciences as a sector lead for our disciplines and interdisciplinary work.
The Deputy Pro Dean will also work closely with the Student Education Service (SES) team and support effective partnership with a range of colleagues and stakeholders. You will chair Faculty committees (as appropriate) and will represent the Faculty at University groups.
The Deputy Pro Dean will take specific responsibility for Student Success and the Faculty’s delivery of the Student Success KPIs.
