This role is working directly for a telecoms service provider, and they are in a continued stage of growth. They are well funded are constantly winning new contracts with both the private and public sector. These are an exciting company with 250 headcount and offices all over the world. They work across both public and private sectors, supplying connectivity, communication and managed IT solutions to a range of organisations within the maritime, defence and commercial sectors. You’ll be joining the systems management team of 3, all customer facing engineers, who provide hands on technical support, administration and management of the customer managed IT. Around 50% of this role will be ticket resolution, likewise the other 50% will be project work, but this is a fluid environment, so you don’t have set times for this. Your background: We’re looking for strong Microsoft bias engineer who has extensive experience working within an MSP. With this role being customer facing, this will suit someone had had a strong service provider background. The key with this role is the strong VMware & on prem virtualisation background. You’ll also need to have a good windows OS background with good AD management. An ideal general background of you will be having strong all-round general IT skills – Windows Desktop and Server, VMWare, Networking, 365 technologies, WiFi, Data and Voice Communications etc which is a given if you’ve worked within an MSP. The office is based in East Surrey, so you’ll have to live in a commutable distance from there.
