Overview
Coefficient is a full‑stack data consultancy dedicated to helping organisations solve their toughest challenges using data science, software engineering, machine learning, analytics, and artificial intelligence. You will work on a wide variety of projects – from cutting‑edge AI solutions for the UK government to building transformative tools across a range of industries – delivering end‑to‑end data science and engineering solutions for our clients while also improving our own internal products.
Responsibilities
* Build and deploy cutting‑edge AI and ML solutions for diverse clients (from Government to Startups).
* Gain full‑stack delivery experience across an array of industries while benefiting from investment in your professional growth and expertise.
* Deliver end‑to‑end data science and engineering solutions for clients.
* Build and improve internal products.
* Participate in mentoring and guidance programmes, sharing knowledge with teammates.
* Work independently but collaborate closely with senior team members, including the CEO.
* Explore the latest LLM tooling to accelerate AI‑enhanced delivery while maintaining quality.
* Write and contribute to presentation slide decks for sprint reviews and client demos.
Qualifications
* Comfortable using Python and SQL for data analysis, data science, and/or machine learning.
* Experience with libraries in the Python Open Data Science Stack (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Seaborn, scikit‑learn).
* Enjoy sharing knowledge, experience, and passion with others.
* Passion for leveraging the latest LLM tooling for accelerated AI‑enhanced delivery without compromising quality.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentation decks.
Location and Eligibility Requirements
UK‑based, hybrid role: primarily remote with in‑person collaboration in London 2–4 days per month. Eligibility: must already have the right to work in the UK. No visa sponsorship for a Skilled Worker visa. Candidates currently in full‑time education (including PhD students) are not considered.
Salary and Benefits
Annual salary: £38,000, with a meaningful uplift following a performance review at the successful 3‑month probation mark.
Holiday: 33 days per year, including bank holidays.
