Please note that this post is part-time during term time, so your salary will be pro rata based on hours and weeks worked.
If you start with the normal school session, an adjustment will be made to reduce your first pay, as you are not entitled to be paid for all holidays. After this adjustment, you will receive a twelfth of your annual salary in subsequent payments.
You will receive an email from our payroll department before your first pay to inform you of the deduction amount.
If you start on the first day of term, this adjustment will not apply to you.
The main purpose of this role is to support refugee children and their families.
The support provided will be responsive to the needs of the child or young person and will be flexible and well-planned to meet their needs within educational establishments, family homes, and the community. The post holder will need to be flexible in their working hours to support children and families outside of school hours. The nature of interventions will vary depending on the individual, family, and school needs.
