About the Role:
The Data Analyst role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in data management and analysis. In this position, you’ll be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and analysing large datasets to deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions and contribute to the development of top-tier SaaS products. With comprehensive training and development resources, this role allows you to grow your analytical abilities and become proficient with advanced data tools in a fast-paced, agile setting. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-focused, and eager to drive data-informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
* Extracting data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing this data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
* Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
* Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
* Collaborating with engineering and product development teams to implement and refine data collection techniques.
* Assisting in the design and implementation of databases and data collection systems.
* Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all analytics activities.
* Participating in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of industry developments and advancements in data analysis tools and techniques.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
* Experience with data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
* Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* A competitive salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 with potential for bonuses.
