Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for a new challenge? We're working with a well-established and respected nursery in Roundhay, Leeds, who are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead their large and thriving setting.
About the Role:
As Nursery Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and compliance are consistently maintained. You'll lead a large and dedicated team, fostering a positive and professional working environment where children thrive and staff feel valued.
You'll work closely with senior leadership to implement the Montessori curriculum, supporting holistic child development and a love of learning. While Montessori experience is an advantage, it's not essential - we're looking for someone open-minded and willing to embrace this approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and support a large nursery team
* Ensure all children receive the highest standards of care and education
* Maintain compliance with Ofsted and all regulatory requirements
* Drive continuous improvement and development of the nursery
* Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nursery Manager
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
* Experience managing large settings and teams
* Montessori experience is an advantage but not essential
