A well-established fuel distribution company is looking for a professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) tanker driver to join their team delivering petroleum products to domestic, commercial and forecourt customers across the region.

Salary & Earnings for HGV 1 Tanker Driver
* £38,100 basic salary (40 hours pw)
* On-target earnings £48,000+ per year
* Overtime paid at time and a half
The Role as a HGV 1 Tanker Driver
* Delivery of petroleum fuel products to domestic, commercial and retail forecourt customers
* Operating modern Class 1 tanker vehicles
* Working to strict ADR and petroleum safety standards
* Maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism
Shift Pattern for a HGV 1 Tanker Driver
* Typically Monday to Friday
* Minimum 40 hours per week
* Opportunity for regular overtime
* Some flexibility required during seasonal demand periods
Requirements for a HGV 1 Tanker Driver
* HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* ADR certificate (Class 3 – Tanks) preferred
* Previous fuel tanker / petroleum delivery experience advantageous
* Tanker experience from chemicals, gas or other liquid sectors also considered
* Strong safety awareness and customer service skills
Training & Development as a HGV 1 Tanker Driver
Training may be provided for suitable drivers from general haulage backgrounds, including:
