SEN Learning Support Assistant Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Salary: Dependent on experience Contract: Full-time Start Date: January 2026 Are you passionate about inspiring, nurturing, and supporting primary-aged children with additional learning needs? A charming and popular specialist primary school in Rochdale is seeking a caring, dedicated, and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team from January 2026. This full-time, long-term role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils with EHCPs who require individualised support. About the Role As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs across the school day. Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs Assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons Helping children develop confidence, communication skills, and independence Creating a warm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and wider school teams This is a highly rewarding role where you can directly contribute to the personal and academic development of young learners.
