Construction Logistics Manager to lead logistics for a commercial cut-and-carve redevelopment project in London for a Tier 1 contractor, on London Underground infrastructure. This is a two-year programme.
The live station entrances/exits are to remain in operation throughout the works. There will be a tight delivery route requiring careful planning and coordination, as well as management of 6 traffic marshals to control deliveries, pedestrians, and ensure compliance. This is a high-profile project with significant visibility from TfL and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all site logistics including deliveries, vehicle movements, and traffic marshal coordination.
* Ensure safe and compliant access for contractors and delivery vehicles around TfL infrastructure.
* Act as TfL Site Person in Charge (SPC) or support the SPC on-site for all works near or on the railway.
* Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and TSW035 forms.
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, TfL, and internal project teams to ensure smooth and safe operations.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with TfL and site-specific health and safety procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
* TfL SPC qualification (mandatory)
* Previous experience on Network Rail, TfL, or similar rail-adjacent projects
* Knowledge of PWT-EH / TfL Protection Workforce requirements
* Proven experience managing construction site logistics and coordinating traffic marshals in London
* Experience preparing and reviewing TSW035 forms, method statements, and site safety documentation
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
