1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant - SEN School in Canterbury
Full-time - £93 per day - ASAP start
Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

The Role
Provide 1:1 support to a male secondary-aged pupil with SEMH needs.
Support learning, emotional development, and behaviour management.
Help de-escalate incidents calmly and professionally.
Build a trusting, positive relationship with the pupil, acting as a consistent role model.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to meet the pupil's individual needs.Requirements
Prior experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in a pastoral/intervention SEN setting is highly desirable.
Strong behaviour management skills, emotional resilience, and a calm, non-confrontational approach.
Must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS (child-only) on the update service, or get a new one (we reimburse £62 after 20 days of work).
