About the Company

Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, the Project Manager will support the delivery of change initiatives by managing day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. The Project Manager will assist in planning, coordinating resources, and monitoring project progress to help achieve project objectives. They will work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to communicate updates, identify potential issues, and implement solutions under the guidance of the Principal Project Manager. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining project momentum and ensuring that all deliverables align with organisational goals, contributing to the overall success of change projects.

About the Role

Drive Project Execution and Planning Practices: Coordinate project activities by integrating modern project management and development practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality features that drive customer value. Develop project schedules and task lists that align with strategic objectives, collaborating closely with the team to maintain focus on impactful outcomes and supporting the Principal Project Manager’s overall direction.

Responsibilities

* Resource Coordination: Coordinate project resources by assigning tasks and managing team workloads to ensure the Change and Technology team efficiently meets their deliverables. Align resource allocation with project goals to optimize performance and support timely project completion.
* Monitor and Manage Risks, Issues, and Performance Metrics: Identify and document project risks and issues, assist in developing mitigation strategies, and track progress for timely resolution. Ensure that project outcomes are measured against key performance metrics, aligning with stakeholder expectations and providing insights to optimize project investment at every stage.
* Facilitate Collaborative Solution Delivery: Coordinate cross-functional teamwork across various workstreams to ensure alignment with project objectives. Guide the team in developing and launching solutions that address real customer needs, leveraging insights and research to drive project success.
* Monitor Project Progress and Support Transparency: Track project progress, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders. Ensure visibility into technical aspects of the project, particularly in discussions involving third-party partnerships or strategic relationships, highlighting any variances from the project plan.
* Promote Continuous Improvement in Quality Management: Oversee project deliverables to ensure they meet established quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Balance enhancements in cost, schedule, and quality to drive optimal project outcomes.
* Manage Third-Party Relationships and Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with third-party suppliers and internal teams to ensure the delivery of quality solutions. Escalate issues to your line manager, as needed to maintain project progress and stakeholder alignment.
* Support Stakeholder Engagement and Requirement Gathering: Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure their needs are effectively integrated into project plans. Work closely with Change, IT, and other key departments to support the adoption of modern development practices and align project outcomes with current and future business needs. Maintain strong communication channels to support alignment with business objectives and value delivery.
* Support Change Control Processes: Manage changes within the project scope and support key stakeholders in implementing change control processes, ensuring changes are recorded and communicated.
* Team Support: Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the team by providing guidance and mentoring. Encourage skill development and professional growth, ensuring team members are equipped to deliver high-quality outcomes that drive customer and business value.
