My Client is recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer in the Water Sector. The role will be hybrid from Peterborough office and working from home.
Responsibilities
* Process design of Clean Water pumping stations, dosing packages and control systems that achieve the goals of Water Company in terms of customer, environment and efficiency. This will incorporate complex hydraulics and system control.
* Support the Process Discipline Head in driving towards excellence in H&S, demonstrating applied knowledge & skills to produce safe designs to discharge your obligation according to CDM Regulations, standards and accepted codes of practice.
* Process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calcs, capacity calculations, water quality assessments, control philosophies, SCADA integration, system commissioning integration.
* Data sheets.
* Technical bid analysis of 3rd party process equipment.
* Ensure all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards & specifications. Ensure the requirements of MAS are adhered to & offer challenge when applicable.
* Be responsible for maintaining your own quality and consistency of all process engineering technical documents.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience of process engineering.
* Demonstrable experience in clean water treatment and system control.
* Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong IT skills.
* Proven problem solving capability.
* Educated to degree level in water/wastewater process science/engineering related subject.
* Have a relevant postgraduate qualification such as CIWEM or a relevant MSc.
* Member of a professional body.
* Full UK driving licence.
