Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our women's health clinic. As the Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily management of our outpatient clinic. You will work closely with consultants, administrative staff, and clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery. This is a key leadership role requiring someone with strong organisational, interpersonal, and healthcare management skills. This is a part time job hours) which has a potential to be full time in 6 months.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of the outpatient clinic
* Oversee clinic schedules, appointment flow, and staffing rotas
* Coordinate with consultants and support teams to ensure efficient service delivery
* Ensure high standards in patient care, safety, confidentiality, and satisfaction
* Handle patient feedback and resolve any service concerns
* Supervise administrative/reception staff and support staff training
* Monitor financial performance (e.g., invoicing, cost control, reporting)
* Maintain compliance with CQC and health regulatory standards
* Manage relationships with external partners, referring clinicians, and suppliers
* Assist in marketing and promotional activities to grow patient numbers
Qualifications
Essential:
* Previous experience managing a private outpatient clinic, medical centre or GP surgery. It is MANDATORY
* Previous experience of dealing with CQC for a health related facility
* previous experience of working with insurance companies such as AXA, BUPA and negotiating contracts with them
* Proven leadership and team coordination skills
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Proficient in using clinic management systems and MS Office
* A clear understanding of patient confidentiality and clinical governance
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and make confident decisions
Desirable:
* Background in womens health settings
* Experience with patient billing, invoicing, and insurance claims
* Familiarity with CQC compliance procedures
* Marketing or patient growth strategy experience
