Finance Manager – Manufacturing
Location: Coventry
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

About the Company:
We are proud to be supporting a well -established and growing manufacturing business based in Coventry known for their high-quality products and strong customer base across the UK and internationally. We are seeking a commercially focused and hands-on Finance Manager to join their leadership team and play a key role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will oversee the full finance function and provide strategic insight and financial control across the business. This is a pivotal role suited to a proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the finance function, including management of a small team
* Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and board reports
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
* Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury functions
* Provide financial analysis to support operational and commercial decision-making
* Oversee stock control, product costing, and manufacturing variance analysis
* Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements, liaising with external auditors
* Drive process improvements, systems development, and internal controls
* Act as a finance business partner across departments to support growth
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with strong manufacturing experience
* Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant in a manufacturing/engineering environment
* Sound knowledge of cost accounting, stock, and operational finance
* Strong analytical skills with commercial awareness
* Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Sage, or similar)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, hands-on leader with a continuous improvement mindset
