Wood Machinist - Hull (Nights, Monday to Thursday) Location: Hull Hours: Monday to Thursday, 5:30pm - 3:45am Pay: £15.94 About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about precision woodwork and craftsmanship to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating a range of timber cutting machinery to produce high-quality wood components used in joinery and bespoke manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Set up, calibrate, and operate timber cutting machines including crosscut saws, rip saws, spindle moulders, planers, and CNC routers. Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists to ensure accurate production. Measure and mark timber accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools. Monitor machine performance and carry out routine maintenance checks. Inspect finished components for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed. Follow all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE and safe handling of machinery. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
