We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our small friendly HR team based at Marsh Mills, Plymouth, on either a full-time or part-time basis.
You will be covering a full range of HR services, with a key focus on recruitment andemployee relations.
The Role
As an HR Advisor you will be responsible for building relationships with all key stakeholders, and managing our recruitment processes and initiatives. This will include supporting Managers with job advertisements, interviews, as well as running and attending recruitment events.
In addition, you will be dealing with, and advising, on a wide range of employee relations cases including absence, conduct, capability and grievances in line with Vospers policies and procedures.
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in engagement initiatives such as the creation of a staff forum, responding to employee feedback on Indeed, Glassdoor etc, and supporting with charity/engagement days.
The Person
* This role would be suited to an experienced senior HR Administrator looking for their next step, or a current HR Advisor
* You should be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above
* Strong organisational skills, articulate and have the ability to engage and motivate along with accurate administrative and database management skills are essential.
* You will have the ability to maintain an impartial stance and be able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities to ensure that deadlines are met in a timely manner, whilst enjoying the challenges that an exciting career in HR can bring you.
* From time to time you will need to visit other sites within the group, and therefore a willingness to travel and drivers licence is essential.
Hours of Work
We are happy to accept applications on a full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time basis (min. 28 hours, either over 4 or 5 days, Monday Friday)
Salary
£29,386.50 per annum FTE (£15.07 per hour)
