Vacancy: Deckhand
The Company currently has vacancies for Deckhands in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Suitable candidates are required to have a minimum of 6 months relevant sea time and previous experience as a Deckhand, preferably on an ERRV vessel.

Deckhand Responsibilities:
* Perform duties as designated by the watchkeeping rota. The Deckhand is responsible to the Watchkeeping Officer on Watch for all duties.
* Responsible for the Rescue Craft when engaged as a crew member, under the supervision of the Coxswain.
* Be familiar with the use of Breathing Apparatus and possess basic Fire Fighting Skills.
* Participate in the vessel's Emergency Response team and Rescue Craft operations where applicable.
* Monitor safe working practices of shore contractors during maintenance periods.
* Promote and uphold the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
* Encourage effective inter-departmental communication.
Required Certificates:
* STCW Personal Survival Techniques (A-VI/1-1)
* STCW Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention (A-VI/1-2)
* STCW Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3)
* STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (A-VI/1-4)
* Seafarers Medical Certificate
Preferred Certificates:
* OPITO ITSO (or Medical Aid and Rescue Care)
* OPITO FRC Boatman
