About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Catering & Nutritional Team Leader to manage our catering teams across multiple sites. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and deliver a high-quality catering service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, supervise, and organise cooks and kitchen assistants.
* Ensure adequate staffing and deployment of catering staff.
* Implement recruitment, induction, training, and performance management processes.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental health, and health and safety standards.
* Deliver nutritious meals that meet individual dietary and cultural requirements.
* Maintain clean and safe catering and dining environments.
* Respond to feedback from citizens and families regarding food and dining experiences.
* Support food-related social and leisure activities.
* Monitor budgets, manage stock, and procure quality food cost-effectively.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in catering management, ideally in adult provision or similar settings.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and nutrition standards.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach.
