McBride Sport are proud to be partnering with Hampshire Cricket and Utilita Bowl on the appointment of a new Head of Partnership Sales. This is a pivotal commercial leadership role at one of the UK's leading sports and events venues, offering the opportunity to shape partnership strategy, drive significant sponsorship revenues, and play a key role as the venue prepares for a landmark period that includes the 2027 Ashes.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will lead partnership sales across Hampshire Cricket's domestic and international cricket programme, whilst supporting opportunities across Southern Brave where appropriate. This role requires an accomplished commercial professional with a proven ability to secure high-value partnerships, develop innovative sponsorship solutions, and build lasting relationships with senior decision-makers and global brands. Key requirements include:
• 5+ years' experience in sponsorship sales, commercial partnerships, or business development
• Demonstrable success securing six and seven-figure partnerships
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills
• Experience managing complex sales cycles from prospecting through to contract completion
• A highly commercial mindset with the ability to identify and unlock new revenue opportunities
• The drive and independence to lead the full partnership sales process end-to-end
