At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Our focus extends to children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
We are searching for passionate SEN / SEND tutors who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Nottinghamshire. If you’re ready to inspire and uplift, we want you on our team!
As part of our mission, you will be supported by a dedicated team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that meet individual needs
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress
Requirements to Join Our Team:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed work or expense coverage is provided
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position
