About You
* Purchase Ledger experience, including familiarity with accounting software
* General knowledge of journal entries and nominal codes
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
* Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
* Experience processing payroll (desirable)
Your Responsibilities
Always:
* Provide cover for month-end supplier reconciliations and payments
* Assist with Purchase Ledger entries, payments, and supplier communications
Often:
* Lead the weekly payroll process, including gathering information, processing on Sage Payroll, posting journals, and issuing employee payments
* Undertake ad hoc accounting and office administration tasks
Occasionally:
* Support wider finance projects and process improvements
* Assist with payroll or ledger-related queries
Never:
* Park anywhere but your free on-site space
* Attempt a karaoke solo… unless you’re brave enough
