The Role:
As an Order Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders from inception to completion. Your key duties will include:
Receiving and processing sales orders via various channels (phone, email, online portal).
Verifying order accuracy, including product codes, pricing, and shipping details.
Liaising with customers to clarify order details and resolve any discrepancies.
Coordinating with internal departments (e.g., sales and finance) to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Updating and maintaining customer records and order databases with meticulous attention to detail.
Generating invoices and other essential documentation.
Handling customer enquiries related to orders
Proactively communicating order status updates to customers.
Assisting with stock management and inventory reconciliation as required.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance order administration efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in an order administration, sales support, or similar administrative role is essential.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
