Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team in Durham as a Multi-Skilled Operative. This varied role involves supporting kitchen operations, assisting with deliveries, and driving company vehicles. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Working Pattern: Any 5 out of 7 days (including weekends and bank holidays as required) Key Responsibilities: Van Driving & Deliveries: Safely operate company vans to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload deliveries, ensuring items are handled with care. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the team. Kitchen Porter Duties: Support kitchen staff with cleaning, dishwashing, and basic food prep. Ensure kitchen areas are kept clean, hygienic, and well-organised. Assist with stock rotation and storage of supplies. General Support: Help with receiving and checking deliveries. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across work areas. Carry out other duties as required to support the smooth running of operations. Requirements: Full UK driving licence (essential). Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential). Ability to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Physically fit and able to lift and carry items safely.
