Apprenticeship trainer
Remote role with ad-hoc travel.
Our client are currently recruiting for a new trainer due to growth. We are looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Trainer, who wants to work with a close team to manage Levy clients and deliver on goals for staff development.
Offering competitive salary, 29 Days holiday including bank holidays and Birthday off leave + Christmas shutdown, good pension Scheme and flexible remote working, the trainer will be home based but required from time to time to visit the client sites but this is flexible around the needs of the learners.
Typical duties of the Apprenticeship Trainer will include:
• Carrying out the initial induction of learners onto the apprenticeship programme
• Train, coach, and assess in a wide range of Apprenticeship Programmes which include:
Minimum requirement:
• Team Leader Supervisor level 3
• Operations Manager Level 5
• Functional Skills
Desirable but not essential Apprenticeships the trainer will be able to deliver:
• Customer Service Level 2 & 3
• Business Admin Level 3
• Project Manager Level 4
• Passenger Transport Level 2
• Supply Chain Level 3
• Supporting learners to develop Functional Skills to the level of competence required
• Guide and ensure learners are ready for End Point Assessment within agreed timeframes
• Working to specific quality and completion of targets
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners progress and work with the trainer in place to ensure organised and structured delivery
• Maintain own professional level of expertise and keep up to date with the latest developments in the field; undertaking training and development directly relevant to your professional role as necessary. Attend all company CPD events.

Skills, experience, and qualifications required for the Apprenticeship Trainer:
• Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33
• Ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTLLS or equivalent or be prepared to work towards
• Functional Skills or equivalent in Maths and English at level 2
• Vocational competence within Team Leading and Management
• Experience in coaching, assessing across multi-disciplined Apprenticeship programmes including Team Leading Level 3 and Management level 5.
• Experience with supporting the delivery and testing of functional skills in Maths & English
• Knowledge and experience of using e-portfolios systems
Annual Salary is up to 35k
