Our Risk & Best Practice (R&BP) department in Bristol is recruiting a Risk & Best Practice Assistant to join their busy and growing team.


Responsibilities

* Monitoring & responding to emails to the R&BP mailbox
* Logging risk incidents including data breaches, claims and complaints and ethical issues
* Providing administrative support for the R&BP team, including creating and formatting risk reports, letters and spreadsheets in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Assisting in scheduling internal and external meetings (including audits)
* Updating R&BP team policies and guidance and updating relevant links on the intranet
* Preparing and publishing intranet news items for the R&BP team
* Assisting with the setting up and administration of information barriers
* Setting up training sessions on Risk issues for the firm (new starters and existing staff), and monitoring & reporting on completion statistics
* Managing and tracking expenditure on the R&BP team’s online log
* Supporting Due Diligence Officers with client due diligence, including identification/verification of beneficial owners and sanctions/PEP checks
* Ongoing monitoring of clients for anti-money laundering purposes
* Providing support to the rest of the R&BP team in case of absence and handling miscellaneous risk-related queries

There will be scope to work on projects, develop skills and expand responsibilities over time.
