Job Purpose:
The role of our Trainee Technician Purpose to gain hands-on experience and technical knowledge in the maintenance, repair, and operation of equipment and systems used in the workshop, yard and offshore environments such as oil rigs, wind farms, or offshore platforms. Our trainee technician is responsible for building the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to contribute effectively to offshore operations while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the setting up and running of grouting equipment.
* Perform sampling and testing of grout mixes.
* Clean and maintain equipment and surrounding work area(s).
* Aid crew in mobilisation and set-up of all plant and equipment.
* Communicate with all different stakeholders to ensure key information is shared between all parties.
* To provide support and assistance to all colleagues, as and when required.
* To adhere to all mandatory PPE requirements and follow all health and safety legislation as well as ensuring all direct reports do the same.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with both safety, environmental and quality standards during the execution of their tasks, helping to foster a safe and quality-driven work environment.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
* Possess a relevant qualification or has experience of working with plant equipment used in construction activities.
* Previous experience working within an offshore organisation (desirable).
* Possess locally recognised offshore safety certification (desirable).
* Must have the right to live and work in the U.K.
