We have a great opportunity at DS Smith for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our team, focusing on developing and executing marketing strategies for our Recycling and Paper Divisions' products and services. If you thrive on content creation, managing marketing campaigns, and contributing to broader brand activity, this role is for you.
This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
As a Senior Marketing Executive, you'll be instrumental in developing and delivering our marketing initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Marketing Team Support: Developing comprehensive marketing proposals and campaign plans (including timelines and budgets) for customer, product/service, and brand awareness campaigns, grounded in market research. You will support customer engagement, align efforts with business objectives, and project manage external providers
* Commercial Support: Collaborating with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, brand values, and product/service offerings. Support account-based marketing to increase client retention, and lead generation to win new accounts within our growth markets
* Content Creation: Creating engaging marketing content for activation through websites, email campaigns, social media, and other channels. Ensure consistent messaging and adherence to brand guidelines
* Monitoring & Measurement: Utilising data analysis and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and optimise strategies
About you
* Proven experience as a Marketing Executive, ideally in a B2B environment
* Strong background in content creation and managing marketing campaigns
* A data-driven mindset, comfortable with analytics and campaign optimization
* Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
* A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
Location: This is a hybrid role, based at home with travel to our site in Caerphilly, South Wales, typically one day per week.
