We have a brand new, fabulous opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join a leading Tour Operator. As a Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the company’s inventory is commercially optimized through effective sourcing and administration of destination, hotel, and auxiliary requirements. You will focus on maximizing revenue, process efficiencies, and customer service excellence.
Previous experience in a similar Product Management role within the travel industry is essential. In return, our client offers a salary circa £40k plus excellent benefits.

Role of Product Manager:
* Maintaining relationships with suppliers and Tourist Boards.
* Monitoring competitor activity and pricing.
* Monitoring sales for preferred and key partners to drive deals.
* Negotiating exclusive offers, incentives, and marketing deals with suppliers.
* Managing the efficient operation of all products within the department.
* Arranging and attending supplier meetings and liaising with the Training department for training needs.
* Providing updates to sales teams about offers and suppliers.
* Providing holiday and hotel offers for marketing and coordinating with Marketing/Aviation Departments.
* Following up on supplier-related issues and complaints.
* Attending industry events on behalf of the company.
* Monitoring company websites and e-shots for accuracy and relevance.
* Overseeing loading and management of contracts into the system and keeping stop sales updated.
* Managing errata.
Skills required for the role:
* Previous experience in a similar role in the travel industry.
* Thorough knowledge of products and industry awareness.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
