Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
* Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
* Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
* Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
* Assist with laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, folding, and storing linens
* Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs with professionalism and courtesy
Requirements
* Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Flexibility to work shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
* A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning practices is advantageous
