What You’ll Be Doing
As an Engagement Consultant, you’ll be right where the action is—helping local authorities engage with their communities in meaningful, effective ways. You'll support our Senior Engagement Consultants to deliver everything from face-to-face events to digital campaigns, helping shape how people experience and interact with their neighbourhoods.
Here’s a snapshot of your week:
* Supporting at live and virtual engagement events like workshops and drop-ins
* Writing clear, creative content for social media, websites, leaflets and more
* Gathering and analysing feedback to ensure real community voices are heard
* Answering questions, developing key messages and handling stakeholder enquiries
* Building digital surveys and engagement platforms
* Managing timelines, liaising with suppliers and supporting the delivery of projects
* Ensuring everything you create aligns with client brand guidelines
Who You Are
You don’t need years of experience—just the right mindset:
* You’re organised, adaptable and ready to learn
* You’re a strong communicator—both written and verbal
* You enjoy working with people and building relationships
* You’re curious about consultation, engagement and community insight
* Bonus: Experience in public affairs, comms or community engagement is great (but not essential)
