Salary £20,966 plus a great range of benefits

Shift detail: Working day shift Monday - Friday 07:00am to 1:30pm

We are excited to be growing our team with a new Stock Controller at our Medina Food Service Depot in Newport, Isle of Wight. The Stock Controller role consists of planning and managing the stock levels for multi-temp products across a variety of categories and locations. You will be working across multiple departments, both in the warehouse and in the office to support achieving business targets.
On a daily basis the Stock Controller ensures that the physical stock quantities match the available quantities on the system and support the Stock Manager to review the range of products on to ensure the stock levels are sufficient for customer demand. You’ll be responsible for making sure that full stock counts are captured information accurately onto Microsoft excel spreadsheets and AX ERP system to produce reports. As Stock Controller you will work closely with the wider teams across the Depot to ensure that we avoid any shortages of goods to our customers. We will rely upon you to investigate discrepancies into major stock variances as part of quality control and waste management. This is a busy role, and no 2 days will be the same!
We are keen to welcome Stock Controllers to apply that are computer literate as a large proportion of the role requires you to working on spreadsheets and data capture for reporting so you must be accurate - having previous working knowledge of both chorus and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous. As well as basic numeracy and literacy you’ll need strong attention to detail and be able to meet tight deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure. We will need you to adapt to new systems and procedures easily with a reliable and flexible “Can do” attitude.
