We're on the lookout for an experienced HGV Technician for a client in the Bamber Bridge area. The role is hands-on, varied, and no two days are the same. You'll be working on both vehicles and trailers, keeping our fleet in top condition.
What you'll be doing:
* Servicing and repairing our in-house vehicles
* Sorting out defects and carrying out diagnostics
* Fitting kit such as Web-fleet systems, cameras, and inverters
* Trailer servicing, MOT prep, and damage repairs
* A mix of other jobs including fabrication, electrics, bodywork, road tankers, and even the odd vintage vehicle
About the workshop:
* 3 bays, including one pit
* Supportive, down-to-earth team where everyone mucks in
Shifts & hours:
Two shifts, rotating weekly:
* Week 1: 07:00 - 17:00
* Week 2: 08:00 - 18:00
* Every other Saturday morning if needed (not often)
Requirements:
* Proven experience in servicing and repairing HGV's & trailers
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of vehicle systems and components
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Pay:
1. £18.44 per hour for the first 48 hours
