Hywel Dda University Health Board is recruiting a permanent Waiting List Coordinator to join the Neurodevelopmental Team at Ty Gwili, Carmarthen.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support to the Neurodevelopment Team.
* Handle confidential health records both manually and on Myrddin, ensuring sensitive patient information is treated appropriately.
* Act as the first point of contact for all forms of communication within the waiting list specialties, liaising with consultants, medical team, GPs, patients, relatives, and other hospitals.
* Competent use of WPAS for entering and retrieving patient information.
* Manage diaries, arrange meetings, take minutes, prepare reports, documents, and other correspondence as directed.
Qualifications and skills:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience working with systems such as WPAS.
* Ability to handle confidential health records and sensitive information.
* High attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Welsh language proficiency is desirable; English speakers welcome.
