A specialist primary SEN school in Bury is looking to secure a committed and experienced SEN Teacher for a full academic year maternity cover starting September.
This role suits a teacher seeking stability across the academic year within a well‑structured and supportive SEN environment. The school caters for pupils with Autism, communication needs and associated learning difficulties, with a strong emphasis on routine, consistency and relationship‑building.
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering highly adapted lessons
* Creating a predictable and structured classroom environment
* Supporting communication, engagement and independence
* Working closely with support staff and the wider SEN team
* Tracking progress in a way that reflects individual development
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience in SEN or a strong interest in moving into SEN
* A calm, structured and consistent approach
* Someone reliable for a full‑time, full academic year commitment
