The Role
Key responsibilities include all the classic requirements of a busy Sales Ledger role, with some specific responsibilities such as:
1. Overseeing approximately 200 complex customer invoices each month, managed by you and two others.
2. Collaborating closely with the business to gather information for end-of-month billing, ensuring everything is aligned for invoicing.
3. Forecasting, including long-term planning and mid-month flash reporting.
4. Compiling data for internal and client reporting.
5. Reviewing current workflows and proposing ideas to modernise and automate processes.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered, you should have solid, stable, and progressive financial accounts experience. The key qualities include the ability to remain composed when dealing with senior personnel or clients, handle pushback effectively, and be a creative thinker eager to improve processes while maintaining efficiency and compliance.
This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in the office a couple of times a week with the rest of the time working from home. The benefits are excellent.
