Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Salary: £26,000 £32,000 Hours: 8:00am 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Industry: Privately owned construction business Environment: Busy, fast-paced office within a growing construction company A well-established construction business is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to take ownership of the Accounts Payable function on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hands-on role where you will manage day-to-day AP duties, oversee workflow, and drive improvements across the finance team. About the Role You will be responsible for the full Accounts Payable process, ensuring invoices, payments and purchase orders are managed accurately and efficiently. Alongside daily AP duties, you will review existing processes, identify improvements, and implement better ways of working. This role suits someone confident, organised and proactive, who enjoys taking ownership and improving systems.
