Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Location: Bidford-on-Avon
Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour
Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Bidford-on-Avon for a part-time Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to join a supportive accounts team in a flexible, office-based role.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day finance function, assisting with bookkeeping and credit control duties while working closely with other departments across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, including multi-currency transactions
Bank and currency reconciliations
Processing financial data and assisting with reporting
Managing credit control and chasing outstanding payments
Handling customer and supplier account queries via phone and email
Supporting general finance administration as requiredThe Ideal Candidate
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Competent using spreadsheets and general IT systems
Previous experience with Sage 50 or similar accounting software
AAT qualification (or studying towards)
This role would suit someone seeking flexible part-time hours, including individuals studying towards finance qualifications who are looking to gain practical experience.
