No shifts. No nights. No weekends. Flexitime is genuinely part of the deal. Want to start at 8:30? Fine. Prefer 9? Go for it. Get your hours in and crack on. Youll be part of a small team covering mechanical maintenance and utilities everything from planned maintenance and shutdown planning to spotting improvement opportunities and running projects. Theres variety here. One day youre planning a bit of work, the next youre leading fault-finding with the team or managing contractors. Theres a bit of everything. But not everything all at once. And not alone- this isnt one of those do-it-all jobs with no support. What youll need Mechanical Engineering background (degree, HND, or equivalent experience) Comfortable with fault finding and continuous improvement Knowledge of kit like conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, rotating machinery etc. Experience managing contractors and maintenance tasks Able to handle pressure systems and common safety risks (hot works, confined space, etc.) A decent communicator who doesnt shy away from responsibility If youve worked with process gasses or in a similar environment, thats a bonus. But the key thing? You know your craft and youre not afraid to lead when needed.
